For most of us, the threat of going to jail or a $30,000 fine would probably be enough to dissuade from bad behavior in the skies. Honestly, it’s appalling that the airline feels it must spell this out. Intentional destruction of Delta property Insults or slurs directed toward a Delta employee or ambassador or Excessive/repeated obscene or profane language directed toward a Delta employee or ambassador Personal threats toward a Delta employee or ambassador To the airline, “Abusive behavior means behavior that is directed at a Delta Employee or ambassador, during travel or interactions with Delta’s Reservations or Customer Care personnel, where the passenger’s conduct is disorderly, abusive or violent, including without limitation: The amendment to the SkyMies program reads, ”Delta may terminate your SkyMiles Membership, including any Medallion Status, on the basis of documented abusive behavior.” Nothing is more important than their safety,” Delta shared in a statement. “Respect and civility to others on our planes, at our airports, in our workplaces and in our society have always been a requirement for our people and our customers.
